Creating a Recreational Space for Families and Young People

At the Our Lady of Fatima Opera in Ostuni, we are developing an area that, alongside an artistic statue complex depicting the Angel of Portugal with the three shepherd children, will feature a large space equipped with playground equipment for children. Nearby, we also plan to create a picnic area, offering families visiting the Opera a welcoming outdoor space where their children can play while parents participate in the educational, recreational, and fellowship activities organized by FIHM (Family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary) Puglia Region.

This space will also serve as a valuable resource for parishes and associations that, throughout the year, wish to hold formative events or spiritual retreats at the FIHM Opera in Ostuni.

The project is intended for all who regularly attend the Opera—especially children, teenagers, and young people whose families belong to the Family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Movement. The goal is to meet the needs of all, with special attention to families facing economic hardship or social challenges.
